North Yarmouth Academy records, 1810-2012 (bulk 1930-2012).

Collection is comprised of all the non-photographic, paper-based materials (exclusive of published works such as yearbooks, clipping files, maps, and plans) that had been placed in the "Archives Closet" over the years, covering all aspects of the school including its administration and student life starting primarily in 1930. At that time a large new multi-purpose building was built which became a public high school as well as private academy. Major portions of this collection deal with administrative matters (Trustees' minutes, staff reports and self-evaluation/outside evaluation reports for reaccreditation); alumni (alumni affairs and individual alumni); development activities (capital campaigns; fund raising events, etc.); curriculum; faculty (minutes, handbooks, individuals); heads-of school (reports to Trustees, the school community, etc.); parents association and volunteer activities; physical plant (grounds and buildings); and student life (athletics, awards and prizes, international exchange programs, and student organizations). Financial records of the academy are not included in the collection.
